Canibus is a rapper from New York who came up in the ’90s. At the beginning of his career, he was known for freestyling. Later, he formed a short-lived hip hop duo called T.H.E.M. (The Heralds of Extreme Metaphors) with Atlanta rapper Webb. After the duo split, Canibus went solo. Around this time, Canibus and LL Cool J got into a feud on wax. “Second Round K.O.” was the first diss track that Canibus released, and it was one of the biggest records of their exchange. In 1998, Canibus released his debut album, Can-I-Bus. The album was led by “Second Round K.O.,” however, the project wasn’t that successful because the other songs on the album were not as good. Still, I think “How We Roll” is a good deep cut.
