Editorial Submission Guidelines
Send editorial pitches to: said@theartofsampling.com
Include “PITCH SUBMISSION” in the subject. Include your pitch, or if you have a written post, please include it in your email. Be sure to include a professional writing sample (or link to a recently-published byline) and include your name, contact info, and Twitter handle.
Please read carefully and fully our Terms of Submission and License Grant before submitting for editorial.
Music Submission Guidelines
For consideration for a feature on The Art of Sampling, you MUST follow these guidelines: email us at: theartofsamplingteam@gmail.com with the subject “MUSIC SUBMISSION.” In your email you MUST include:
• A link to your music — SEND LINKS ONLY (PREFERABLY SOUNDCLOUD), DO NOT SEND FILES
• Your name and name of the song/album project
• Names of both rappers and producers of every track
• Your photo (at least 800 px wide)
• Rapper’s Twitter Handle/Facebook or website page
• Producer’s Twitter Handle/Facebook or website page
• Direct contact info
