Fausto Papetti was an alto saxophone player from Viggiù, Lombardy, Italy. He started recording in the ’50s, and he released a lot of music in the ’60s, but Papetti became more well-known in the ’70s. In the ’70s, Papetti became known for his instrumental covers of pop and jazz music. In 1974, he released his album, 18a Raccolta. “Love’s Theme,” a cover of the Barry White Love Unlimited Orchestra original, was a standout from Papetti’s album. One year later, Papetti released his album 20ª Raccolta (1975), and it became his most successful album to date.
