What is E-Digging?

Simply put, “e-digging’” is the process of digging (searching) for music (source material) on the internet. In and of itself, that should not be seen as an inherently “bad” or “good” thing. Instead, it should be considered as a necessary component for many sample-based beatmakers. Fact is, vinyl records are simply not as accessible as they were, let’s say, 10 years ago. Therefore, digging for source material online has become the only reality for some beatmakers. Moreover, it’s another legitimate means for finding/discovering new music (often rather quickly). This is why I strongly endorse e-digging.
