Big Daddy Kane is a rapper from Brooklyn, New York who is one of the most influential artists in hip hop history. In the ’80s, he started his career as a member of The Juice Crew All Stars. The Juice Crew All Stars was a hip hop crew that was formed by producer Marley Marl, and the roster featured Kool G Rap, Masta Ace, Roxanne Shante, Biz Markie and many more. In 1988, Kane released his debut album, Long Live The Kane. “Ain’t No Half-Steppin'” was one of the lead singles, and it was one of the biggest songs on the album. By the end of its run, Long Live The Kane became one of the most impactful albums in hip hop history.
