Smiff-N-Wessun are a hip hop duo from Brooklyn, New York who started rhyming in the ’90s.  The duo includes Tek from BedStuy, Brooklyn and Steele from Brownsville, Brooklyn.  In 1993, they made their recording debut on Black Moon’s album Enta Da Stage.  Smiff-N-Wessun appeared on two songs, “Blac Smif-N-Wessun” and “U Da Man.”  In 1994, they released their debut single, “Bucktown.”  It was an underground hit, and it created a buzz for their debut album.  In 1995, they released their debut album, Dah Shinin’.  “Bucktown” was the lead single, and it was one of the best songs on the album.
