Hubert Eaves III is a keyboardist, songwriter, and producer from St. Paul, Minnesota. In the ’70s, he made his presence felt. Eaves started his career as the session keyboardist for Mtume. Then he played the keyboard for artists, like Norman Connors and Stephanie Mills. Later on, Eaves produced a number of records for Phylis Hyman. In 1977, he released his one and only album, Estoeric Funk. One of the most notable songs on the album, “Song For Marlene,” is a great representation of his solo talent.
