Brotha Lynch Hung is a rapper and producer from Sacramento, California who came up in the ’90s.  He started rhyming as a teenager, but at that time, he spent a lot of his time mixing it up in the streets.  In 1993, he released his debut EP, 24 Deep, on Black Market Records.  It peaked at #91 on the Billboard Hip Hop chart, but it was the first project to chart on the label, and Hung established a solid fan base. The title song, “24 Deep,” is one of the stronger cuts on the EP.  In 1995, Hung built on his earlier success when he released his first album, Season of Da Sickness.  As his profile continued to grow, he started producing, and two years later, he was producing for Master P, E-40, and Mr. Serv-On.   Hung continued to rhyme throughout the ’90s, and his cult following remains strong today.
