King Tee is a rapper from Compton, California who started rhyming in the ’80s. He was one of the first MC’s from Compton to find success, and he is considered a West Coast legend. In 1988, he released his debut album, Act A Fool. The project was led by songs, like “Act A Fool,” and “Payback’s A Mutha.” In 1990, Tee built on his successful debut when he released his second album, At Your Own Risk. The title song, “At Your Own Risk,” is one of the most notable. This songs reminds me how hard this ’90s West Coast sound hits. When you hear it, you feel it.
