Camilo Sesto is a singer and songwriter from Alcoy, Spain who started recording in the mid ’60s. In 1965, Sesto started recording with his band Los Dayson. One year later, he started recording with another band called Los Bostines. Between both bands, Sesto experienced limited success in Spain. In 1970, Sesto went solo. In 1972, he released his debut album, Algo De Mi. The title song, “Algo De Mi,” was a #1 hit in Spain. Later that year, Sesto released another album called Sólo un Hombre. His second album wasn’t as successful as his first, but I think “Fuego” is a great deep cut on the project.
