Ghostace Killah is one of the lead members of Wu-Tang Clan (the legendary hip hop group from Staten Island, New York). In 1993, Wu Tang released their debut album, Enter the Wu Tang (36 Chambers). It was an impactful debut; by 1995, the album was certified platinum, and it is one of the best albums of all time. After the album was released, each member dropped their own solo album. In 1996, Ghostface Killah released his debut album, Ironman. His debut features “Daytona 500,” a song that sounds and feels like it’s namesake (the prestigious NASCAR race). This fast-paced track forces Ghostface, Raekwon, and Cappadonna to bring their A game, and they do not disappoint. RZA’s flip of “Nautilus” is also one of my favorites.
