Sample Flips: G Herbo – “Fight Or Flight” (Prod. By Brian Miller)

G Herbo (formerly Lil Herb) is a rapper from Chicago, Illinois who has been rapping since 2012.  That year, alongside close friend and fellow Chicago native, Lil Bibby, they released “Kill Shit.”  The success of “Kill Shit” led to an expanded audience for both artists and in 2014, G Herbo released his debut mixtape, Welcome to Fazoland.  The mixtape was met with critical acclaim and a particular appreciation for Herbo’s lyricism on drill beats.  One of my favorite songs is “Fight Or Flight.”  I think it’s a great example of Herbo’s lyricism and one of his most thoughtful songs.
