Cyhi the Prynce is a rapper and songwriter from Stone Mountain, Georgia. He’s known for his contributions as a songwriter and a rapper, but his individual catalog is underrated. In 2010, Cyhi released his debut mixtape, Royal Flush. Later that year, Kanye West signed him to his G.O.O.D. Music imprint. Since his signing, Cyhi has become a fixture on the G.O.O.D. music label through his songwriting for Kanye West and other labelmates. In 2014, he released Black Hystori Project, a mixtape featuring songs like “Basquiat,” “Bury White,” and “Coretta.” Produced by TEC Beatz and Jeff Leahr, “Coretta” is a great showcase of Cyhi’s talent.
