The Cytations were a soul group from Washington, D.C. who released two singles in the late ’60s. Their debut single, “Hey Mr. Love”/”Two For The Road,” was released on Solid Soul Records in 1966. Their second single, “Darling You Do”/”Suddenly,” was released on Granjun Records, the imprint of The Cytation’s lead singer, George W. Jones, Jr. “Suddenly” is a memorable soul cut but unfortunately, it was the last record the group ever released.
