Source Material: 21st Century – “Remember The Rain”

21st Century was a young soul group from Chicago, Illinois most well-known for their song “Remember The Rain.”  The group was made up of five members: Pierre Johnson, Fred Williams, Alphonso Smith, Tyronne Morris, and Alonzo Martin.  In 1974, their debut single, “Remember The Rain,” was released on Golden Tone Records, an indie Chicago-based label.  In 1975, they released their debut album, Ahead of Our Time, on RCA Victor.  The album featured another standout single, “Child,” “Does Your Mama Know About Me?,” and “Remember The Rain.”
