The L.O.X. are a hip hop group from Yonkers, New York that is comprised of Jadakiss, Styles P, and Sheek Louch. In the late ’90s, The L.O.X. enjoyed a successful run with Bad Boy Records. They were featured on “It’s All About the Benjamins” and their debut album, Money, Power & Respect went platinum. However, due to disagreements about the direction of Bad Boy and The L.O.X., the group opted to join Ruff Ryders. The first album they released on Ruff Ryders was We The Streets. This album featured songs like “Wild Out” and “Ryde or Die, Bitch,” but I think “Recognize” (produced by DJ Premier) is one of the strongest cuts on the project.
